International Applicants - Exercise Physiology Accreditation
The international Exercise physiology accreditation (AEP) pathway is available to graduates from an overseas tertiary institution who have met all of ESSA’s accreditation entry requirements. There are several stages that are required to achieve international AEP which are detailed on ESSA's website and available HERE.
This stage of the international AEP process represents the second stage of the process, and incorporates a comprehensive Desktop Assessment.
How to Apply:
Completing an online Application Form:
- Click on the Eligibilty Assessment tab below.
- Complete all questions to determine the appropriate Accreditation Pathway available to you.
- Once completed an eligibility outcome will be provided onscreen and via email, click on the appropriate pathway provided.
- Select 'Use this Application' to commence your accreditation application.
- Complete all answers ensuring appropriate information / evidence is uploaded with your application.
- Your application doesn’t have to be completed and submitted at once, it can be saved and completed at a later time. Simply click the save icon located at the bottom of the form.
- The Application Form includes mandatory questions that require answering before your application can be submitted and a payment gateway for application fees. International Application fees are available on the ESSA's website HERE
Note - Incomplete mandatory questions will be identified when you attempt to submit the form.
A certified copy for your ID must be supplied with your application to ESSA. Examples of acceptable photo ID and instructions on how to certify the copy can be found HERE.
Documents not in English must be accompanied by an official translation into English, translated by a NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd) accredited translator. All costs of translation are the responsibility of the applicant.
Additional fees may apply if further evidence is required.
Applications are assessed in order of receipt and cannot be expedited.

IMPORTANT - All applicants must gain exercise science accreditation (AES) via the non-accredited course pathway before applying for the international pathway.
